Here is a great, not too thick, recipe for Alfredo sauce. Here are the basic ingredients:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 3 tbsp Parmesan cheese
- 1 Clove Garlic or about 1 tsp bottled garlic
- 1 tbsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp parsley
Put all ingredients in a blender except the parsley. Blend until it is creamy with no chunks in it.
Next, put them in a saucepan and cook over medium heat for around 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Also, add in the parsley as well. Once you do that, it is ready to serve over your pasta.
You can use any pasta you like, but I prefer noodles, spaghetti and elbow pasta. Also, ground beef, chicken, tuna and many other meats work. If using meats, stirring them in the sauce works great. Also, most seafoods taste amazing as well, such as shrimp, lobster, clams and even scallops. Cook them separately and then add them in when you pour the sauce over the pasta.
